LEDE 17.01.1 (lede-17.01.1-ramips-mt7620-rt-n14u-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin) for ASUS RT-N14U H/W Ver.: C1 from the Table of Hardware also seems to work for ASUS RT-N14U H/W Ver.: A1 (the white label on the cardboard box says H/W Ver.: A1). It flashes fine, does not brick the router and all menus work fine. I had previously flashed the OpenWRT firmware (openwrt-ramips-mt7620n-rt-n14u-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin) to it, and thus only needed to upgrade to LEDE through the web interface of OpenWRT.
