Asus RT-AX59U - LED config and logging verbosity

The ASUS firmware, the led showed different colours/flasing options when the router was booting, not connected etc. With OpenWrt the led is always green. Is there a way of showing some LED on booting (comfort blanket) but when once booted and connected to the internet turning out the LED? I've found this https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/base-system/led_configuration but not sure if my single LED is a deault LED.

Also, the system log seems quiet - currently set at debug. What level what I need to see say, intrusion attempts being rejected by the firewall?

You mean turn off ?
You'd need to script it.

Firewall rejects connection attempts, not intrusion attempts.
For the latter you'd need to open a port, which is a bad idea.

Hello @frollic

Yes, I meant turn off - not out, and connection attempts.

I'll pla around with the log output level.

TLDR, but internet down isn't the same as interface down.
