Asus pce-ac88 dual band AC3100 - possible to use for 2.4 and 5 Ghz simultaneously?

I got a Asus pce-ac88 dual band AC3100 that I put on my future x64 router build but it only turn up as one wifi device - set at 5Ghz.
I can change it to using 2.4Ghz but i can't get both to work at the same time.
How can I tell if the wifi card supports simultaneous use (dual channel?) of both 2.4ghz and 5Ghz?

Packages installed for it:

brcmfmac-firmware-4366c0-pcie
brcmfmac-firmware-usb
bnx2-firmware
kmod-brcmfmac
kmod-brcmutil

In wireless settings it shown up as: Generic MAC80211 802.11bgnac

/etc/config/wireless says:

config wifi-device 'radio0'
        option type 'mac80211'
        option channel '36'
        option hwmode '11a'
        option path 'pci0000:00/0000:00:1c.0/0000:03:00.0'
        option htmode 'VHT80'

lspci lists it as:

03:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries Device 43c3 (rev 04)

There is no other sub id like 03:00.1 or such.

Dual-band does not imply concurrent dual-band. You have one wireless card, one radio with one phy, it can only tune into a single channel at a time (yes, you can choose which one, be it 2.4 GHz based or 5 GHz based), not multiple ones. If you do want to serve both the 2.4- and 5 GHz band, you will have to add a second wireless card.

That's what I thought.
Is there any solution with concurrent dual-band? Like that card I have but with that functionality?
I don't have space for one more card.

Not really.

Yes, very, very few such cards exist - but those are basically two cards on a single PCB that means they are oversized (literally the size of two cards next to each other), have power requirements beyond the PCIe standard and usually come with a big cooler on top (prices and (un-)availability are also in a different league).
