ASUS AX59U 160hz wifi doesn't work(FALSE ALARM IT ACTUALLY WORKS)

Edit: When set on WPA2 only, and not 160hz only then wifi speeds are normal. I get 700Mbit speed then. But 160hz doesn't work.
160 hertz AX wifi isn't seen on AX59U, I mean the wifi is not listed if I set it to 160hertz. But 80hertz works, even then it is slow under 190mbps. I had 600mbps easily on Asus AX53U router. Using 24.10.0-rc5. And see on the second photo it sends 570 mbit. But I got 200mbit on speedtest. Where does my 370mbit go?

Also my laptop has 300mbit, but my phone is slow as 190mbit at most. I don't know how. My phone has wifi 6 chip too.

It seldom does and is a big middle finger to APs using any 4 channels adjacent.

In your case it looks like the channel is not in a 160MHz slot.

I dont understand what you mean.

Does this help?

Not exactly I understand. I set it to 80mhz cuz it was not working on 160mhz. Although later it worked. I don't know why it works.

Between the yellow highlights are the 2 160MHz that fit in the 5G spectrum: 50 and 114.

They both look for any signs of airport or weather radar and if they fail that scan (DFS range re-highlighted in violet) they would try the other channel if set to auto but you manually set it.

Then it is fixed.
Look at all the adjacent channels you will overlap with 160MHz width; all the neighbors you are going to cause interference trying to figure out how to use 160 when 80 is working just fine.

Unless you live in the middle of nowhere with no other WiFi.

So you're saying me using 160hz is not good for my neighbors?

Also, I've got one important quest, which I am even willing to donate some for this. It's a huge work. Here is the thing, I got lots and lots of ISP modems. They update through the ISP's PPPOE server automatically, they download that firmware files to the modem, then they update. User can't interfere. No other easy way to update the software. So I have an ethernet to VDSL converter device, Planet VC231G. I want to build a system with an openwrt router here, with PPPOE server built-in the router. Then one cat6 to the planet vc231g, then goes VDSL cable to the modem. That will send those firmware updates to each modem, one by one. Is this possible?

It is not polite and, if you look, the options that work are limited.

Best to start a new thread for that.

Just curious, so I assume jammers work the same way, am I right?

By being loud, obnoxious and broad-spectrum?
Yes.
