I got an Aruba AP-303H and would like to flash it with openwrt
As per https://openwrt.org/toh/aruba/ap-303h , I need a serial console cable to perform flashing of openwrt.
And this proprietary cable is not available for me to procure in my country.
I see that pin out of the connector, https://openwrt.org/toh/aruba/ap-303h#serial_console
My understanding is, we can custom make a cable with a micro usb connector and usb to ttl adapter.
Any one here done this?

(and the OpenWrt wiki)
suggest that it's indeed merely a USB 2.0 micro/ type B plug (used with a fairly non-standard pinout) to a normal 3.3V based USB2serial adapter.
So my approach would be cutting off ~30cm of cable from a USB 2.0 micro/ type B cable and attaching (soldering on) 2.54mm dupont connectors, to be used with your preferred 1.5 buck usb2serial adapter.
Disclaimer: no personal experience with this device or cables like that.
Thank you @slh for the tips, I was able to take serial console by making the custom cable as you explained and linked.
In case some one would like to know little more details here are the diagrams,
I used an old micro usb cable of an old phone and cut it to half, the pin numbers are counted as below,
In my case, inside the harness there were only four wires.
And I used a super cheap usb to ttl adapter as below (I had to install some some custom drivers to make it recognize as a com port)
