But they most often never say that they did something so it is more like “help it doesn’t work” and the guessing game begin.
I found that strange too, Usually when I search for something on Google or on this site I also add what I am looking for.

I would split off device models from the rest of the search
We could get popularity of devices over time quite easily.
Or at least, "total amount of trouble requiring search per device model" over time
With some search term grouping, there's probably a way to group multiple terms into single topics and then watch these topics over time
I wonder what "irqbalance" is all about.
Also mesh, banip, tftp and vlan, interesting ! I wonder what all these people are doing with those.
Probably looking for setup tips and tricks.
The thing is that the interpretation of the original question is a thing to think about.
This is something to think about because how many of those find the answer to their question in the forum or user manual by reading without asking anything?
And how many have a question and they don’t even think about searching for the answer, they are the ones that we spend a lot of time helping in the forum.
And then we have the ones that pretty much know what they want when asking but only need some quick help or hint in some direction.
Once we know what they need, it would be easy to insert little dismissable notifications in luci with a link to relevant documentation. Skip the whole searching pipeline and get the answer in one click.
I would love to write a little blurb that, for example, explains how to setup iPXE booting, when you go to that part of the interface about setting this up

lightly processed data
all search queries that include a model numbers verbatim
all search queries that do not include a model number verbatim
all search queries that include a model numbers, only the model number + count
all search queries that do not include a model number , agglomerated by keyword, only the keyword, exclude generic words + count
output daily,weekly, monthly, csv format but use [SEPARATOR] instead of comma

Also, I would suggest we train GPT-J-6B natural language processing model on the raw, bulk forum and wiki text data

This would create a rudimentary chatbot that could answer at least the most common questions. Chatgpt is already not bad, but using the wiki and forum data it would be an openwrt expert right out of the box.
I'm building a 36 GPU cluster, would gladly train it and run inference for free as well as repost the trained model under open source license. (I have the hardware, but never actually performed this myself)

I think "wget returned 4" should be investigated as a possible major source of frustration to users.
Is there a possibility to create daily or weekly reports of these stats, and if possible, something that goes all the way down to single queries ? I would like to explore the "long tail".
