Archer not accessible after some time in mesh setup

I currently run a setup of three 802.11s mesh nodes (Netgear R7800 - connected to ethernet, ASRock G10 and Archer C7) with OpenWRT (development branch).

The setup works fine, but after some time the Archer is not accessible any more (no ping, no web interface no ssh) but there is still traffic routed over the device. If i restart the WiFi on the Netgear R7800 i can access the Archer again.

Any ideas what could cause the disappearing of the Archer?

I would check the logs and probably increase the log level. And you could use another device (raspi...) to run a regular ping to that device to find out the time it is disappearing...
