Archer MR200 is re-locked after factory reset

hi everyone's

i unlocked my archer mr200 v1 successfully by using liviu method
uci set network_status.network_status_data.unlockplmn=1
uci commit network_ status
exit

router is running latest orange firmware build180608-rel52037n

the issue is after factory reset router is locked again and i need to repeat steps above again

are there any solutions to unlock permanently despite factory reset???

Ask Orange, it's their fw, not ours.

and see https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer_mr200

i followed all instructions and router is unlocked and works fine. but why when factory reset it is locked again ???

i unlocked four routers before and the unlock is permanently despite factory reset. i want to know why this router re-locked. is problem bootloader or adb shell permissions ??

You're still asking the wrong people, it's not our firmware.

Are you actually running OpenWRT? It sounds like you're running firmware from Orange, I guess this is ISP provided kit.
If so, then no one on here can help you. They would if they could but they cant as they have no visibility of whatever crapware Orange have baked in.
You can, it seems, install OpenWRT on this but it doesn't seem easy. I would treat yourself to a new (or from ebay) router which is properly supported by OpenWRT. It will be a good investment you will not regret making.

i installed ArcherC2V1_tp_recovery.bin on router then upgrade to latest openwrt firmware 23.05.0 but why after factory reset it locked again. is problem from bootloader or adb shell permissions??

i run latest openwrt firmware 23.05.0

But it's a UCI setting, and they get wiped when you reset the device.

i unlocked four orange routers using this method and still unlocked after it rest to factory settings

then you need to spend some time, and compare the FWs ...
