Will the firmware support the Canadian CA version? Checking https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/archer-c7-1750, it doesn't distinguish between the CA and US version. Checking https://www.tp-link.com/ca/support/download/archer-c7/?utm_medium=select-local#Firmware, it has 2 versions of the firmware, one for the US and one for CA.
Only someone with access to the device to try it (and capture tftp results if needed) or who is willing to dig through the GPL code or the firmware image will know for sure.
Its probably a 50% chance it contains a different code in the header. If we haven't seen it before, it needs to be added.
Here's an example of what happened with the Russian version. It's not a big deal and very straight forward, and a semi advanced user can probably even patch OpenWrt themselves until the change is accepted.
