[Archer C7 v2] Old devices doesn't connect to sae-mixed Wi-Fi

I'm using openwrt-21.02.1-ath79-generic-tplink_archer-c7-v2 firmware. If I use psk2 (WPA2 only) in the /etc/config/wireless, all devices connect fine. But if I set the sae-mixed mode (WPA2/WPA3 combined), then old devices such as MacBook Air 2014 (Fedora Linux 35), Nexus 6P (Android 10) cannot connect to the network, although the modern OnePlus Nord CE device connects without any problems. Is the problem in Archer C7 itself or is it some kind of bug? I saw a similar bug on the bugtracker, but nobody seems to have solved it https://bugs.openwrt.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=3108

No, that are (pretty common) client side issues, nothing that could be fixed in OpenWrt.

I'm not sure, but you can try non-ct drivers which gave me wpa3 sae for mesh and that was not possible with the ct drivers.
