Archer C60 v2 soft-brick after config save

Hi

I flashed the 22.03.3 version to TL Archer C60 v2 (EU) router.
The first start is okay, everything started well LuCi appeared okay.
But when I try to switch LAN connection from static to dynamic DHCP set and save it, the device become unreachable - Only the power led lid up, and no any answer on ethernet connection - till factory reset by pushing reset button.
After multiple try, the only case when the device become unreachable is after save and commit the changes of LAN connection OR stopping the LAN connection. Restarting is working well.
Even when I switch to dynamic DHCP without save, restart the service, the device working (get IP address, internet is reachable and usable), but after apply&save the device is lost.

I reupload the original firmware with tftp.

Fun fact: After flashing Openwrt and multiple factory reset, the reflashed original firmware keep and use my every setted config values from admin password to wi-fi connection setups without any backup - based the original factory firmware.

This may be expected behavior, depending on the context:

  • Did you set the DHCP server to ignore the lan interface (in the DHCP settings)?
  • Did you connect the lan port to an upstream network that has a DHCP server running (such as another router)?
  • Did your computer get an IP address from the same upstream router/DHCP server?
  • Did you check the DHCP lease table for the upstream DHCP server to find the IP address of the OpenWrt device?

Basically any changes at LAN setup (to PPPoe, Dynamic DHCP, or else) are give the same unresponsive result.
If I only want to change from static IP to Dynamic DHCP, what else need I set ? Can I get any docs to check this?

Thank you.

You didn’t answer the questions I asked.

If you change the lan ip address to dhcp, you must have a dhcp server (such as another router) in your network. Otherwise, the router will not have an address.

Pppoe as a protocol on the lan would not make much sense (you’d need a pppoe server on your lan).

Sorry, I wasn't so exact what I want to want to be.

If you change the lan ip address to dhcp, you must have a dhcp server (such as another router) in your network. Otherwise, the router will not have an address.

The router LAN is connected to the ISP-s modem. If I not save the setup, only just set and switch to the Dynamic dhcp it's working, it's become unreachable, when I click apply&save.

I write the pppoe part because it cause the same unreached state.

What is the desired use of the OpenWrt router? If it is just for WiFi, follow the dumb ap guide.
