Archer C59 unable to flash

Hi everyone,

I have a TP-Link Archer C59 (RU) ver 2.0 now, with the stock firmware (2.0.0 Build 20170207 rel.40672). And I want to install OpenWrt on it. I tried to install the firmware via the GUI, but I got the "Invalid file type" error. Also tried to install via TFTP, the firmware is successfully uploaded, but booting to stock firmware.

How do I flash a router with OpenWrt firmware?

It seems like the old snapshot worked . If it works with you then afterwards you can upgrade to the latest release.
