Arcadyan AW1000 NSS Builds

can you please add kmod-nft-tproxy and kmod-nft-socket?

Hi. I installed v5.4 Expanded. Sadly have no internet, modem status is "disconnected". Version 5.3 is absolutely fine, no problems with connection. Simcard is the same.

Hi, can you try editing the modem with your APN, save it, and redial? If it’s still not working, please post the modem log and system log. You can also open an issue in the GitHub repository and attach all the details.

Thanks for response. I will try this evening.

I've tried, it's still the same. Looks like this FW (5.4) has no quectel cellular protocol. Under "network --> interfaces " I tried either add new, or edit existed interface, and there is no quectel cellular protocol. Strange, the same was in Hikari's latest FW.

In that case, I cannot tell what the problem is without the modem log and system log

Where you want me to send logs?

You can post it here or open a GitHub issue

I clean installed the last version and everything about watchcat and HTTP-DNS-Proxy is working fine out of the box, but I have an issue with the leds 5G and Mobile Signal. I have a sim connected but the leds are both completly off, no color, and they should be both blue I think reading the changelog

Yes, I have noticed the LED issue. This happened because I used USB2 instead of USB3 to get the signals for controlling the LEDs.It will be fixed in future releases.

fixed now : https://github.com/ChamodyaChiran/AW1000-NSS-Build-Public/releases/latest

Hi @Chmod !

I’ve followed this instruction for expanding MTD layout. I successfully manage till the end of the guide. However, my aw1000 doesn’t boot up. power LED turns on but no webui, no ip. I tried flashing your expanded firmware as well via usb boot, after reboot, still stuck at power led only. Am I missing a thing?

Hoping for your kind assistance!

Hi, if you followed every step in my guide As you mentioned, only the power LED is on and there’s no ip that suggests something is not working as expected.

First, set a static IP (gateway 192.168.8.1 subnet 255.255.255.0 ip 192.168.8.x ) on your PC and try to connect to the router

If that doesn’t work, the easiest way to recover your router is via USB boot

  1. Download the official OpenWrt kernel image and rename it to initramfs.bin.

  2. Prepare a USB drive (1GB or larger) and use Win32 Disk Imager to write initramfs.bin to it. (Note: the USB drive will be fully formatted.)

  3. Power off your router, insert the USB drive, and power it on. The router should boot from the USB.

  4. Download the official OpenWrt sysupgrade image and flash it via the Web UI.

  5. Remove the USB drive and reboot.

  6. Go to System > Software and check the available storage.

  • If you see more than 500MB, you’re good to go — you can now flash ChamodyaWRT Expanded (use V5.4).

  • If you see only ~70MB or less, that means the Expanded MTD Layout was not applied successfully. In that case, please run the following command and share the output:

cat /proc/mtd

I managed to make it work after repeating the process. Thank you so much. I have now 500+mb of storage I can use for other applications.

Hello to the team. I'm planning to switch my chateau lte 12 with this router, cause I would like to learn and play with openwrt. The thing is I want the system to be stable, cause I work through Internet and that was the main reason I bought mikrotik at first place. So I want to ask you if the existing builds are considered as stable as they should be in order to ve stability at your network? Thanks in advance for your time and info.

TTL Mangling firewall4 not support?

Section qcanssecm specifies unreachable path '/etc/firewall.d/qca-nss-ecm', ignoring section
Section qmodem_ttl option 'family' is not supported by fw4
Section qmodem_ttl option 'reload' is not supported by fw4
Section qmodem_ttl specifies unreachable path '/etc/firewall.d/qmodem_ttl', ignoring section

It seems that some iptables related packages are missing. You can always install those packages, but I’ll include and make it a dependency for the build

edit: nvm, those are not supported by fw4.

Hello users which version is better in your opinion xHikari or Chmod and why? Thanks to both for your beautiful work.

@Chmod you have no contact mail on your github page or even simplex link. “How to reach me: You Know That..Right ?“ = No I don’t.

@Chmod when are you planning to release ver.5.8 expanded fw?
