Any R7800 ath10k driver experts around?

Hi all,

Current Setup:

  • Router: NETGEAR Nighthawk X4S R7800
  • Firmware: OpenWrt 24.10.0-rc4 r28211-d55754ce0d

Firmware Build:

  • kmod-ath10k
  • ath10k-firmware-qca9984
(Changed from the default -ct driver that comes with Openwrt)

I get quite a few "ath10k_pci 0000:01:00.0: failed to lookup txq for peer_id xxx tid 0" entries in my kernel log, although it does not appear to impact the user in any way..

I wanted to see if I can get rid of this error, or better yet, resolve whatever it is complaining about.

Example from Kernel log:

Does anybody know what is causing this error?
Is this driver open source so I can post on some sort of Github repo?

the hw inside the MT6000 doesn't use ath10k, that's why those packages aren't in the default build recipe.

simply don't include them.

Sorry, my bad.. It it is ofcourse my R7800 router that has ath10k, and not the MT6000 (which is my other router)..

I have updated the original post.
