definitely the cheapest and locally available but I see there's an unsupported v2 so a small risk to get it - of course I can return it.

ok, too late for this purchase, but since it was about cost (isn’t it always?) and I rarely see this mentioned:
10W 365/24/7 cost me 35€, so it pays off to compare power consumption.
what device are you referring to ?
not a specific device.
I generally research how much power a device I’m interested in draws on average and calculate the difference to alternate devices multiplied by the expected lifetime. I don’t just compare buying price like seen here because it can be drastically misleading
