I have made an Ansible playbook using community.openwrt to setup my 3 Openwt routers with
- Automatic WAN bandwidth management (CAKE Autorate)
- Wi‑Fi with fast client roaming across all OpenWrt devices
- WireGuard server to access LAN devices with easy QR-code client setup
- Tailscale client with subnet routing
- Dynamic DNS via no-ip.com and FreeDNS (Afraid)
- Hostnames
- Timezones
- WAN DNS servers
So if I break any of my routers, I can factory reset it and ansible can automatically set it up exactly the same again without forgetting any settings
