Is there any alternative to mjpg-streamer that can give more number of frames?
You want webcam viewing I assume? You can try ffpmeg, either in a direct send capacity or in comibnation with nginx to form the rtp stream.
That I can't say. I've never compared the two solutions, but I have been impressed with ffpmeg's efficiency.
