Allowing 2 interfaces to communicate (rephrasing)

Allowing 2 interface to connect

Hi I have a bare openwrt router, with 2 ethernet port One port is set to 192.168.1.3/16 The other, to 192.168.1.5/16 If I connect a cable one port, I can access Luci, but can not ping the other interface (Ping 192.168.1.5 -> no route to host) How to make the 2 interfaces exchange data ?
