Adding user authentification fail due to passwd

Hi,

i tryied to add a new user with user-add and password generated with psswd.
Login using ssh to dropbeard fail and the only log show user locked.
change -l and /etc/shadow show the the user is not lock.

so i triyed the same password as root, and the generated password is completely different much more longer.

as workaround i used the same password as the original root password.

to have a valid password using passwd command you need to set
ENCRYPT_METHOD MD5
in /etc/login.defs
