Mine is HW 0.0.7 on 3.1.0.22 since it's been a dumb AP for most of its lifetime. How easy/hard is it to jailbreak? It's been a while since I've followed this thread. Last time I tried to get SSH to work with the default_uci in config it did not work. I am also still not sure of the next steps after since they are spread far throughout the thread.

'file' is a standard folder which openwrt build process adds to the image as-is. Check official docs for more info

i've also been unable to retrace the steps in this thread; many links are outdated. the meisterleone config file load from gui does not seem to enable any access. beyond that, i can't track. my device is v3.2 firmware
to those who have successfully taken this journey:
1- is serial access required to load an openwrt image.?
2 -is there a brief recent summary of steps with current links?

"I encountered an issue while trying to NSS build. The WAN port is connected, but I can't obtain an IP address.
Just checked the latest GPL source drops for this device and Verizon still hasn't shipped kernel source (checked all source drops until 3.3), and the kernel source for CR1000B and CE1000A still don't include the kernel driver for the MoCA adapter.
