Patch the one @Mad_Mac just mentioned?
Well I can't get the patcher to work so whatever I guess
With the patcher and SSH access, is it possible to install an OpenWRT image? snapshot, idk...
People write it doesn’t work (and the same goes for AX9000).
Although on the AX3600 device many testers wrote that it installs perfectly.
Yes. I put Openwrt on mine using ssh. Not sure what the "patcher" is...
Well, I got SSH access using mir-patcher, but I don't really know how to proceed from now on to install a "clean openwrt".

I managed to run openwrt 23.05 on this router, but I don't know enough to make the ethernet ports work.
Well that is really exciting @r1ghty I would love to try it myself. Wait you linked to Xiaomi Redmi which is not this topic's device.
see the last commit, its my forked repo
Ah okay I see. Well I hope that this can get things fully supported by OpenWRT. If the switch can start working I would definitely try to install
the switch requires a firmware file found in quic's github repo, which needs to be bundled to openwrt. If you have qsdk, it's easier to make it work quickly for testing
I am just curious about this but given it sounds like it's very possible to get OpenWRT working on this device, what needs to happen to have this actually supported?
In the latest release of OpenWRT, the Distance option in the properties tab of the wireless interface stopped working, this option was removed from the Ath11k or 80211h driver? Tell me how to use it back, the access point is on the video camera at a distance of ~400m over AX3600, in the very first releases from Robimarko the option and pings worked were smaller, now it does not function.
Any news on this? I have 3 AX6000 and I'm very anxious about have openwrt on this devices. The xiaomi firmware is very limititive. Anyone already have this working?
I have two of them, one at home and the other in office. Really need support.
This thread contains tons of conversations, what are you asking about specifically?
Then revert to the factory firmware.
QCN9000 isn't supported for this chipset. Just take a look at ath11k source code. So, forget it.
Hello guys, anything new about the AX6000 or IPQ5018 support?
Hello friend, any advances in the installation? If you can make this compilation available, I would be very grateful.
