I don't have the router yet. I want to buy it and it has OpenWRT. So I wanted to know if SMS sending/receiving works well. If it does not then I won't buy it since it's mandatory for what I'm doing (need to use API to send/receive SMS).
after install how can I login? 192.168.1.1 is not working

Yes, with openwrt snapshot at least sending sms (with uqmi) works. haven't tried receiving.
