I know this is an old topic, but I couldn't find anything more recent discussing this issue. The workaround provided worked for me as well. I'm using this fork so I can get NSS going on. Both 10g ports work fine, but if I keep disconnecting and reconnecting them, they eventually stop working, and I need to do a full reboot.
Yeah, I have reported that issue before and I still have it. It seems it's the same on other routers, not this one only. I have an Asus AX89X and it's the same, after several cable plugs and unplugs the LAN ports stop detecting the cable and only rebooting fixes it
