I have a N750 with a Genesys GL850G USB SSOP 28 Pin chip.

The manual for this chip states that it is capable for four USB ports. Has anyone attempted to add a USB device to the board by sodering to the free D+, D- and connecting the VCC and Ground?
If so, did you have to enable the other ports, and how?
