I tried the serial flashing instruction from the EC330-G5U page. It seems to have worked at first glance. Big problem I see so far is that the maximum transmit power for the wireless is limited to 6dbm. So, while the wireless does seem to work, you have to basically stand next to it to be in range.

Anyone have any ideas how to increase? Will keep doing research.
