Using any other working device without issues should theoretically solve your issue with a broken device.
FYI:
802.11ax is WiFi protocol
2.5 and 5.4 GHz are frequency bands used for consumer WiFi
Nonetheless, yes, the ASUS RT-AX53U is a dual-band (i.e. 2.4 and 5.4 GHx) device that is capable of 802.11ax. Additionally, you can create multiple SSIDs on each band.
Yes, but as I'm sure you're already aware, this should not be used as a security feature.

Strange this story with the LiveBox 6
I've had this since it became available, so more than two years, and I've never had any problems with DHCP.
Now replace a LiveBox 6 with the direct fiber connected to the box, you will have to be very strong
Otherwise:
Solution 1: Hope you tried a full reset
Solution 2: Request an exchange on the pretext, for example, that it no longer lights up at all and having unplugged it during the test so that Orange no longer sees it
[MODERATOR EDIT: Adding English translation (via Google Translate)]
ha yes ok, in fact I didn't want to replace it but just no longer use the DHCP server and Wifi to use those of an Asus that I will buy but just to use it as an Access Point and DHCP server.
[MODERATOR EDIT: Adding English translation (via Google Translate)]
No, I already had to make one on the first connection, because of the automatic restore, I admit that I don't want to retype everything
Merci.

I'll see, I admit it's a headache too lol. What is strange is that by searching on the net, I see that other people have had this problem with old liveboxes and me with the old ones, I had already had other problems but not this one. there.
The preferred language in the OpenWrt forum is english.

For me the OpenWrt WIFI driver is much less stable & efficient than that of the LiveBox 6
I forgot: television with WIFI and TV UHD boxes will be frankly bad if you can do it
Has the limit use only the OpenWrt as a separate DHCP server
ha yes ok, and so for you for which reason you bought another router with Openwrt, and wich router do you use ?
And now, do you continue to use it even if WIFI is less stable than your Livebox 6?
You say the dhcp server of your livebox 6 is broken, so I suppose configurations e, f, g, h will maybe not work, as those very much depend on what your LIvebox 6 broadcasts. Now, if your livebox 6 is simply wrongly configured, then it would be a different matter, but this is a OpenWrt forum, so you better turn to your livebox vendor for help about configuring said device. If your hypothesis of livebox 6's dhcp server breakíng down from too many connected devices, then yes an accesspoint with own dhcp server might be of help and configurations e, f, g or h could help, but it would be risky to buy a new device just to discover it still does not work.
If your Livebox 6 does not support WDS, you might be forced to use relayd or kmod-trelay and I am not completely sure, but I believe following guides could work:
Since the OP is mostly interested about ways to replace the router supplied by his ISP (Orange), I suggest checking the following forum which specializes on precisely that :
I just read a few messages and you're in luck : there's even a knowledgeable Orange employee posting precise settings (particularly dhcp4+dhcp6) to make it work with their network. So you can expect good reliability.
Last LiveBox installation are without ONT
The fiber > 2 GHz is directly connected in the LiveBox 6
anyway I don't know anyone who has DHCP problems with livebox 6
either she has a problem and exchanges
either there is a network problem somewhere
and in this case the ASUS router will therefore be useless
