Otherwise my post above explains that adblock-lean prevents flash wear by using /tmp but that if several users want external storage we could add it. I just don’t think it’s that much of a big deal since in the compressed form the consumption is already small and the freshly generated blocklist can be obtained pretty rapidly anyway. It’s also true that adblock-lean works well at the moment and we have to be careful as @egc points out not to add in too many new and relatively unused features given the risk of introducing new issues.
