Accessing shell through serial

Hi,

I'm having trouble obtaining shell through serial console using CP2102 uart. No trouble booting and getting bootlog which looks similar to one posted on tutorial site. After getting last message:

and pressing enter nothing happes.

Router: ZTE MF286D

Perhaps the TX to RX (on the router side) cable is not connected properly, is damaged or is connected to the wrong pin?

Switched RX with TX and got the access, thank you for your time!
