Access point eap225 after installing OpenWRT not coming up

Hello,

I tried to put openWRT on one of my AP. I did that for 4 of 5 AP's now, last one is broken now :frowning: It is a plink eap225v4 (others are v3).

The AP is booting somehow, but there is no ethernet connection possible. Through serial connector I am able to see what's going on. Log attached.

So it is kind in a loop?!

Ok, I solved my first issue. The serial connector wasn‘t connected properly. Rx was bridged with Tx facepalm

After resolving this I was able to use the console and enable lan and wifi. I realized that I flashed with firmware for v3. So I uploaded via Luci the firmware for v4. But now the device is stuck. Not able to connect to serial. Led goes green-orange-green and that’s it.

Any idea how to get it working again? I was happy to see it working again…
