About Layerscape: NXP LSDK has decided to drop armv8_32b support

Hello,

Observing https://git.openwrt.org/?p=openwrt/openwrt.git;a=commit;h=b4b53cd39b128dd583871fd639957c381d9eae57 removed the support armv8_32b target for Layerscape

I have started reviewing this commit trying to understand the below questions in general about the few users like us trying to count this target for their product features.

If there is any recommendation from NXP related to this, please let me know.

Thanks,
Mahesh

#1. Considering the active openwrt application environment, will it be technically feasible without much hurdles(due to kernel and openwrt packaging around it) to continue in a timely the development activities in armv8_32b layerscape target environment?

#2. For 32bit application environment preference over layerscape hardware, will it make sense to just switch to armv7 target. Also need to check on the tradeoffs of armv8_32b vs armv7 for this.
