I've got openwrt on a NanoPi R6S.

That device is not supported by the official OpenWrt project.

Hi, My Hitron CODA56 cable modem has a management interface at 192.168.100.1 but is only accessible from an IP sourced from the same subnet. My LAN subnet is 192.168.30.0/24. What is the best way to implement a routing rule to allow access to the modem? Thanks.

Using the build from here: https://github.com/mj22226/openwrt/releases.

if it doesn't work you need to ask the maintainer of that firmware since it is not from the official project.
