A7608E-H based 4G LTE router

Hi, i have just moved into a flat and am on a very tight budget, sofar ive been hotspotting my laptop from my phone and it is actually just as good as wifi in terms of speed, but when im on the phone it slows right up to the point of being unusable  - i have got a SIM only pacage for a VERY reasonable price (140GB DATA +unlimited calls/texts for 10£/month) its the same network as my phone is on, and seeing as i pay 5/month for my phone ill still be saving compared to paying £23/month for WIFI ontop of my phone, plus i love making things, its all the more satisfying when somthing you create yourself has a purpose
I have just bought an A7608E-H CAT4 LTE module for a good price which i was planning to combine with an RPI 3B and OpenWrt after reading through a few projects/builds, but seeing as i have about 14/15 Arduinos knocking around i would like to investigate whether they can be used in place of the RPI (of which i only have 2).
From what i can gather the pinout will be similar either way - RXD/TXD, 5V and GROUND from the LTE module to which ever MCU used.
I have investigated local 4G towers/signal and there are 2 masts within the village, the nearest being 645m as the crow flys, and it transmits BANDs 3 and 20. Given that its a rural location and it will only be me using one device and dont stream too much, i landed on BAND 20 - 800MHz as the most appropriate.
Ive looked into using either a BiQuad or a Double BiQuad antenna directed towards the closest mast, in theory i should get much better reception that just my phones antenna ? also i am on the top floor and have access to the attic, so seeing as 800MHz is good at penetrating obsticals, would mounting the antenna in the attic be appropriate? it would make a double BiQuad more usable, as having 825mm x 413mm reflector by the window wouldnt be ideal haha.
I am competant with electronics and have in the past managed to make functioning devices with arduinos so i am capable of pulling this off, but i am not an expert in coding so have always followed others projects/builds when it comes to anything more that (very) basic coding, does anyone have any advice, or know of any similar builds to draw my attention to?
Any infor or advice would be much appreciated

Also i didnt know whether to put this in the software or hardware forum so im going to post it in both and please delete where appropriate  thank you

Please don't cross post...

apologies, like i said i didnt know which catagory to post it to

What is in

ubus call system board

of your OpenWRT device?

Buy yourself a normal modem, the module you mentioned is a joke.
Arduinos have nothing to do with OpenWrt.
B20 usually has the worst bandwidth/throughput.
Test with your phone what you can get at your location. If B3 is available - then use it.
