A Wireguard comparison DB

So, previously you got 1.27 Gbits/sec in reverse mode and now it's down to 1.07 Gbits/sec. And even when you force the governor to performance it's still 50 Mbits/sec slower with kernel 6.6

I wonder how something like the GL-MT3000 would score now. Would that be 50 MB/sec slower too or worse with it being a weaker device?

Nice to see what that new Filogic 880 is capable of, and at a lower clock speed than the 830.

I think we can ignore the 50Mbps difference, but the CPU governor here shows more significant difference that we might need to look at.

With something like the BPI-R4 where you're getting well over 1 Gbps a 50 Mbps difference might not matter, but for lower end devices that could be a huge difference.

Once someone shares results from something like a GL-MT3000 snapshot then I'll create a bug report.

It's kind of expected, Filogic 880 is 4-core A73 while Filogic 830 is 4-core A53 which shows a huge difference.

Got another gadget to play with. Note that this result was obtained with a cheap heatsink mounted on the CPU. Without the heatsink it seems to be throttled during the benchmark and I can only get about 190 Mbps.
