Hello,
I am curious: I can see why Mediatek targets are easier to develop for, but how does development improvements for a target transfer for all devices using the same chip. For example, Filogic, if a bug is fixed or an improvement in the OpenWRT ONE device using filogic, how much of that will be transferred to other devices using the same chip? What I currently think is happening: a change is made, the change is upstreamed to kernel and changed, kernel downstreams all changes for chip when new releases become available. I understand that these improvements would be chip specific.
