Hello!
I need help with 6in4. The problem is I have two wan (wan1 - PPPoE + DHCP and wan2 - PPPoE + DHCP). IPv6 internet getting from wan1. IPv4 internet getting from wan2. And 6in4 takes IP from random interface! It don't have in General Settings field Device. How 6in4 can take the right IP ?
This setting:

I did. It's not working. Now there is 10.10.6.1 and IPv6 internet work but must be 31.148.5.57. It will work before reboot the router. The field "Local IPv4 address" doesn't work correctly.
That's not a public IP and hence invalid as a 6in4 IPv4 router address anyway. There is nothing in the field, it's empty - that's a suggestion based off an interface.
Add this address. Save, apply and refresh the interface if necessary.
(BTW, 6in4 is deprecated for use on the Internet, and doesn't work very well.)
IPv6 Internet was working (Local IPv4 address 10.10.6.1). I reboot router and IPv6 Internet stopped working (Local IPv4 address 10.10.6.1). I wrote to Local IPv4 address 31.148.5.57. And IPv6 Internet don't work also.
OK (???)...good.
Then, this statement is false.
If IPv6 was working, return your configurations back to the working state.
No good. It works until reboot router.
IPv6 is taken via 31.148.5.57 and this statement is true.
I can't. 6in4 don't understand right interface and have not setting for this.
I need to delete the interfaces again and under which combination IPv6 will work before restarting the router.
After many tests, I think that the 6in4 uses the original WAN (in my case, it's the Device "wan"). Therefore, the PPPoE interface (31.148.5.57) for IPv6 must be configured on this WAN. The other interface is PPPoE (10.10.6.1) you need to configure on another WAN (Device "wan_2"). And it's weird.
And what steps do you perform to make it start working again?
Did you rename 'wan' yet?
I'm deleting all the PPPoE interfaces and creating them again. I noticed that having the correct IP in the Local IPv4 address field does not guarantee IPv6 performance. And that's why yesterday I didn't delete PPPoE, but changed the accounts in them, so now PPPoE 31.148.5.57 is linked to the device "wan", and PPPoE 10.10.6.1 to "wan_2". The device 'wan_2' was created using the kmod-macvlan module.
I rebooted the router and IPv6 is still working! The problem is solved. Let it work like this.
No, it's the original name of the Device.
