So I have an old 3Com ethernet pcie card, I just finished fixing the main port, now I am trying to forward the network from one lan port to another lan port, which is not working. See my other thread for information on the main port.
Same system as with broadcom tg3 - detect driver with dektop linux.
i already know the driver, it gets detected, which i forgot to mention, but how can I forward the internet from the main lan port to the pcie card's port?
You add new card to br-lan.

Yes, s software bridge like br-lan functions like an unmanaged Ethernet switch, which sounds like what you want. Both ports will be in the same network at layer 2. This would be appropriate for example if you have a simple case of two desktop computers and you want them to be able to share files with each other and reach the Internet.
