25.12-SNAPSHOT apk update failing (unexpected end of file)

Hello,

apk update failing on multiple routers.

Error:
wget: exited with error 8
packages.adb: unexpected end of file

Target: aarch64 cortex-a53 (mediatek filogic)
Release: 25.12-SNAPSHOT

Issue happening on multiple devices and networks.

Seems snapshot repository problem.

Probably the same issue as seen here:

25.12.0 RC4 apk update - how to preserve the repo package list

Well, right at this moment, the package indexes for that device are broken (see https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/25.12.0-rc4/packages/aarch64_cortex-a53/packages/ and look for packages.adb, it's not there, but should be). Just wait for the next buildbot run on that architecture's package feeds and it should get back to what you expect.

(even though the linked thread is for 25.12.0-rc4 and not snapshot, it would make sense that the issue is consistent)

If you need to upgrade right now, just build from source, as the fix has already been committed.

It is fixed now for this target (I use the same). I assume it will be for others after the next build of packages.
