25.12.0 Incompatible With Latest Pixel 10 Android Update

I upgraded all my devices (I have a 4) to 25.12.0 and all clients (PCs, tablets, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 9, Pixel 10, IoT devices, etc) connected and worked well. The March 2026 update to Android was pushed to my Pixel 10 yesterday (3/12/26) while I was napping. I shockingly awoke to find my Pixel not connected to WiFi. After many attempts from resetting Pixel 10 network setting to reloading the March update, the Pixel 10 never connected to WiFi on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands across 3 access points. Never a connection on both bands.

Since Android cannot be rolled back from this latest update, the last straw was to roll back Openwrt firmware to 24.10.5 . I did this for a travel router that is not used every day. The result was instantaneous. Pixel 10 could not connect with firmware 25.12.0, but immediately connected once the router was downgraded to 24.10.5 . The same archive was loaded with each firmware version.

In watching the system log real-time with 25.12.0, no log entries were made (not authentication nor anything else) when the Pixel 10 attempted to connect. The Pixel 10 only stated to check the password. The password was correct.

All other devices in the house (PCs, Pixel 9, Pixel 4a 5G, IoT) connect to 25.12.0 without a hitch. At this point, I am going to keep 24.10.5 in all devices except the travel router that has been downgraded so the phone can connect to the Internet via WiFi, and to provide a guinea pig if that would be helpful.

It seems that this must be worked quickly.
