I'm not very good at openwrt, I'm sorry, I just started to figure it out. I've been fighting for 3 days, and nothing is working... There is a router with openwrt 23.05, you need to make 2 wifi distributions on it, so that 1 works in standard mode (getting dynamic ip), and 2 the network via pptp. Is there such a possibility? If so, how can it be implemented? It is extremely important that both networks work simultaneously, independently of each other.
Sorry for my bad English, Google translator ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
should be ok to do
I think more inforation is needed
PPTP is ? server, client & what is is connected to etc
can easly add a 2nd SSID on wifi & attached it to TUN0 or what ever you call it
Hi, it's great to have this opportunity. About pptp. I have a rented server that I can connect to using its IP address, username, and password. It uses it as a vpn. Again, excuse me for my inexperience, but if you need any more data or information from me, is it possible to find out more precisely what? Thank you so much for your time and I'm sorry for the bad English, Google Translator_(ツ)_/
I have not use native PPTP on OpenWrt, only via windows
but it's noted as unsecure these days at lest for work place security
here is the OpenWrt help page https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/services/vpn/pptp/client
I would try to confirm the server is working via windows
as that's what I'm used to, I guess it depends what OS is on the other end as well
see what you can make of this page to start off with
there also maybe someone out there with more current and intimate knowledge of this out there
