Is there a way to download an old buildroot environment to build an old firmware in order to be compatible with existing packages built out of buildroot?

No, I meant an old kamikaze build.
I found my answer :
svn co -r 3741 https://svn.openwrt.org/openwrt/trunk/
for example reverts to r3741.
