hi all.
i've an picoboard ( atheros 2312A )  very interesting 16mb of ram 4mb of flash. 802.11abg 100mW power. 2 ethernet ( switched )
price very low see:  http://www.interprojekt.com.pl/picoboar … p-445.html

default has vxWorks. openWRT boot from tftp ( elf + ramdisk ) but crash:

is possible to work openWRT fine on this? hardware looks like DWL-2100 aP. same boot loader.

Best regards Giuseppe

If you put RedBoot on it, it should work without problems.

Do you have howto? or varios doc? why openWRT loaded on time by tftp not work? need patch?

I don't have a board. OpenWrt uses the RedBoot partition map and the Linux drivers use different board config data format than vxworks

that board looks really neat !!

This board is cheap and cool with openwrt.

Picoboard has ST M29W320DT flash, 5112A wireless and atheros AR2312

With redboot booted via tftp from vxworks there is a problem:

you need to tune/compile redboot for the device

I have tested all combinations but ST M29W320DT seems not to be supported by redboot.

Then you have no choice but adding support for it smile

this board is priced as a miniPCI 802.11a/b/g card. it would be a great benefit to openwrt if picoboard is able to be powered by openwrt.  a picoboard/openwrt solution would be a best/top seller for many months ... are there any datasheets available for this board?

Picoboard has not CE certification, but seems that in metal box interpojekt.pl make CE certification

Could someone please post some more information about this board? Links to hi-res pictures of the PCB, datasheets, manuals etc. would be nice.

Does it has an JTAG connector?
Who is the manufacturer?
What's the estimated lifetime of this product?
